La Promesa: Who is the father of Maria's child?

La Promesa's María has become pregnant scandalously out of wedlock. Despite her doubts and worries, María decides to keep the child. Samuel and Pía are there for her from the beginning. Samuel even suggests that he and María marry and start a family, even though he is not the father.

But then the father of María's child arrives to La Promesa!

Samuel's sacrifice

Upon hearing the news of María's pregnancy, Samuel is shocked. But after thinking about it, he tells María that he is ready to leave the priesthood for her. Of course, that would mean leaving La Promesa and Luján. Still, Samuel is ready to claim the child as his and marry María. Samuel promises to be a good father to María's child.

But then La Promesa welcomes Carlo Castejón, a boy from Luján. A footman arrives as reinforcement for Ángela and Lorenzo's upcoming wedding.

Carlo knows nothing about María's pregnancy. Carlo says that that night at the village party, María made a very good impression on him. María doesn't want the servants to know what happened that day.

So Carlo is the man who got María pregnant during a wild night of partying at a local festival. Carlo arrives at the mansion just as María has decided to accept Samuel's offer of marriage.

Will María reveal the truth about her pregnancy to Carlo? How will the lackey react? We will see that in the upcoming La Promesa spoilers on this blog.

La Promesa: Will Tono and Enora marry?

The truth about Enora is revealed to Manuel in La Promesa. Will Toño and Enora still get married after all of Enora's suspicious behavior?

Yes, of course. In the fifth season of La Promesa, Toño and Enora's romance reaches its climax when it's time for their wedding.

On their wedding day, Toño seeks refuge in the hangar that has changed his entire life. Manuel gives Toño a gift, a watch, so that Toño will remember him as he travels the world with his wife. Toño thinks the gift is too much. He himself feels that he owes Manuel. Manuel has given him a job that allowed him to meet the most beautiful woman in the world. Manuel saved Toño's life by believing in him when no one else did. A beautiful friendship has developed between Manuel and Toño, and they feel like brothers.

Simona is happy to see her son happy and walks him down the aisle herself. Simona is accompanied on this important occasion by her inseparable Candela. Martina, Adriano, Ángela, Curro and even a new character, Julieta, are all there to celebrate the wedding.

Before the wedding, Toño is clearly restless, and fears that this is all a dream. The fact that he is marrying Enora is much more than he could have ever imagined.

Enora arrives at the church door on Manuel's arm. Toño says that his future wife looks wonderful. Enora just wants to start the ceremony, because if she starts crying, she won't be able to stop.

Father Samuel unites Enora and Toño in marriage with words that are addressed not only to them, but also to María, who is present among the guests, and who cannot help but be moved.

"Enora, when you're here in front of me, I realize I can't express what I feel. I imagine it's a bit like flying, dizzy and uncertain, but also blind faith in knowing I'm in the right hands. I want to fly with you every day of my life," Toño says.

Enora says that while flying involves uncertainty, she's not afraid: "I feel capable of anything. You make me feel better than I ever dreamed possible, and that's why I want to return the favor every day of my life."

Finally, Samuel declares them husband and wife: "What God has joined together, let no man separate." The priest's words are followed by a kiss, and cheers.
