La Promesa: Will Angela get married?

Lorenzo knows Leocadia's big secret. That Leocadia murdered Jana. Captain De la Mata is blackmailing Leocadia with this information, and Leocadia's daughter Ángela has become a substitute victim. To punish Curro, whom he hates, Lorenzo demands to marry Ángela. Ángela is terrified of this forced marriage.

But then a plot was hatched to prevent Lorenzo and Angela's wedding. Jacobo's friend Beltrán, a very pleasant young man who became interested in Angela, arrived at the mansion just in time. That's when the idea was born to secretly marry Ángela to Beltrán. That way, Lorenzo would be left licking his fingers, because Ángela would already be married to someone else.

Ángela and Beltrán's wedding

Ángela and Leocadia attend Lisandro's wedding anniversary, intending to go to Villalquino afterwards, where Beltrán is waiting for them. Ángela and Beltrán are supposed to get married secretly so that Ángela can avoid marrying Lorenzo.

But the plan goes awry when Lorenzo shows up at the party. Lorenzo publicly announces his engagement to Ángela in the middle of the party.

Leocadia tried in vain to outwit Lorenzo, who is more cunning than her, who guessed this plan in advance.

Ángela and Lorenzo's wedding

When the wedding with Beltrán does not take place, Ángela loses all hope. On her wedding day, Ángela, desperate, finds no other way out than to attempt suicide. Ángela survives, however, thanks to Curro.

Despite the bride's slight reluctance, Lorenzo still wants to marry Ángela. Only Margareta's blackmail makes Lorenzo, who has been cornered, give up his plans, and Ángela is finally free to get engaged to Curro.

La Promesa: Will Adriano and Martina have an affair?

Adriano has not hesitated to lean on Martina after Catalina unexpectedly left La Promesa. They have been taking care of the twins together. At the same time, Martina and Jacobo have grown apart because Martina spends too much time with Adriano and the children.

Catalina's departure

Catalina's departure left Adriano completely devastated. He was left to take care of his two children alone. How could he cope with this abandonment and at the same time take care of his children? Martina, who understood Adriano's difficult situation, has supported him during this difficult time.

They start spending more time together, and this change in Martina's behavior angers Jacobo. He feels that his fiancé is neglecting him, that he is not Martina's priority. Martina, on the other hand, feels completely misunderstood by Jacobo. They have had many arguments.

Adriano and Martina have gotten to know each other better after spending time together, and they have found a connection. Adriano wants to thank Martina for everything she does for him and his children. That's why he decides to invite Martina to dinner in Luján, leaving the children in María's care.

Unfortunately, a storm disrupts their plans, and Adriano and Martina have to return to La Promesa, soaking wet. They decide to spend the evening by the fireplace.

La Promesa: Will Curro get his position back?

Curro has been tested for a long time in La Promesa, when he lost his title and was demoted to the position of servant. In the fifth season of the series, he returned to the mansion with Ángela on the condition that he would no longer be a servant, but the Marquis asked him for patience.

But sometimes even Curro's patience runs out. Curro urges his father to make a decision, he says that he wants to get his position back now. Don Alonso has set to work to give Curro the place he deserves in the Luján family, but once again he has entrusted everything to Leocadia. Manuel has managed to open his father's eyes, which has led the Marquis to make a decision.

During dinner, Captain de la Mata again bullies Curro, but Alonso tells him to stop. Alonso says that he was going to wait until after dinner, but it seems more appropriate to announce it now.

Alonso reveals: "This boy is Curro, my son. Born out of wedlock, but still my son. For reasons beyond his control, he has worked as a footman, but that will now come to an end."

The Marquis announces that Curro is rejoining the Luján family. "I want you all to know that starting tomorrow, Curro will take on a new role as my personal secretary. He will rejoin the family in a much more honorable role," he says to everyone's astonishment, and continues: "I promised you, and here it is, son." Curro thanks his father for his efforts.

Everyone smiles except Leocadia, who still can't believe Alonso's words, and the captain, who sees his plans starting to crumble like a house of cards.

Who stole Lope's recipes in La Promesa?

A heinous crime has occurred in La Promesa: Lope's exquisite illustrated recipes have been published in a newspaper under the name of Madame Cocotte. Who has stolen Lope's recipes? Who is the mysterious Madame Cocotte?

La Promesa Lope recipe

It all started when Lope drew a picture for Simona and Candela to help them learn one of his great recipes. But Lope is furious when the same dish appears in the newspaper with the same drawings, ingredients and instructions. What's worse is that the recipe is attributed to a mysterious "Madame Cocotte".

Lope knows that someone at La Promesa must have copied his recipe. Vera wonders if it could just be a coincidence. But Lope thinks it can't be, such a big coincidence would be impossible.

Who could be the culprit? In the case of Madame Cocotte, there are several suspects, starting with Simona and Candela. Vera tells Lope that the two were excited and showed the recipe to everyone. So the entire staff has seen Lope's recipe, even Mr. Ballesteros. Lope suspects everyone except Vera. He has also questioned the cooks who suggest that he publish an illustrated cookbook.

After questioning the suspects, Lope sets out to set a trap to find the culprit.

The Recipe Thief Is Exposed

But then Petra, La Promesa's former housekeeper, discovers that Santos has stolen Lope's recipes. Ricardo Pellicer's son offers Petra a deal: a share of the spoils. Santos makes money by sending Lope's recipes to the newspaper. Will Petra succumb to the dark side, or will she make the right decision?

Eventually, the newspaper publicly reveals that Madame Cocotte is Lope. This revelation significantly raises Lope's status. Madame Cocotte's fame brings him prestige, and even job offers from fine houses and restaurants.

The gentlemen of La Promesa praise Lope after learning that he is Madame Cocotte, and Lorenzo entrusts him with the catering for his wedding party.

But then the father of María's child arrives to La Promesa!

Samuel's sacrifice

Upon hearing the news of María's pregnancy, Samuel is shocked. But after thinking about it, he tells María that he is ready to leave the priesthood for her. La Promesa: Will Tono and Enora marry?

The truth about Enora is revealed to Manuel in La Promesa. Will Toño and Enora still get married after all of Enora's suspicious behavior?

Yes, of course. In the fifth season of La Promesa, Toño and Enora's romance reaches its climax when it's time for their wedding.

On their wedding day, Toño seeks refuge in the hangar that has changed his entire life. Manuel gives Toño a gift, a watch, so that Toño will remember him as he travels the world with his wife. Toño thinks the gift is too much. He himself feels that he owes Manuel. Manuel has given him a job that allowed him to meet the most beautiful woman in the world. Manuel saved Toño's life by believing in him when no one else did. A beautiful friendship has developed between Manuel and Toño, and they feel like brothers.

Simona is happy to see her son happy and walks him down the aisle herself. Simona is accompanied on this important occasion by her inseparable Candela. Martina, Adriano, Ángela, Curro and even a new character, Julieta, are all there to celebrate the wedding.

Before the wedding, Toño is clearly restless, and fears that this is all a dream. The fact that he is marrying Enora is much more than he could have ever imagined.

Enora arrives at the church door on Manuel's arm. Toño says that his future wife looks wonderful. Enora just wants to start the ceremony, because if she starts crying, she won't be able to stop.

Father Samuel unites Enora and Toño in marriage with words that are addressed not only to them, but also to María, who is present among the guests, and who cannot help but be moved.

La Promesa Tono Enora marry

"Enora, when you're here in front of me, I realize I can't express what I feel. I imagine it's a bit like flying, dizzy and uncertain, but also blind faith in knowing I'm in the right hands. I want to fly with you every day of my life," Toño says.

Enora says that while flying involves uncertainty, she's not afraid: "I feel capable of anything. You make me feel better than I ever dreamed possible, and that's why I want to return the favor every day of my life."

Finally, Samuel declares them husband and wife: "What God has joined together, let no man separate." The priest's words are followed by a kiss, and cheers.

La Promesa season 5: How Curro saved Angela?

Reluctant bride Ángela decides to take her own life on her wedding day by swallowing a bottle of medicine. However, Curro arrives just in time to save Ángela's life.

At the beginning of the fifth season of La Promesa, Curro and Ángela are living alone in a remote cabin. Ángela, who suffers from memory problems, wants Curro to tell her what happened on her wedding day and how they ended up at the cabin. But Curro doesn't want to relive those painful moments. In the end, Curro agrees to tell Ángela everything.

Pía gives Curro a farewell letter written by Ángela. Curro then decides to go look for Ángela. He runs into her room and finds her on the floor, holding a bottle of medicine. Curro thinks Ángela is dead.

Curro tries to wake Ángela by shaking her, but it doesn't work. But then Curro makes Ángela vomit by putting his fingers in her mouth, and it works. Other people start arriving, and Curro has to leave. Shortly after, the doctor arrived and began examining Ángela.

Curro did not know if Ángela would survive. It was many hours before the doctor said that Ángela was alive. That was when Curro decided that he could provide care for his beloved at the cabin. Curro tells how he picked up Ángela from La Promesa. He waited until dusk, carried Ángela on his shoulders, and brought her to the cabin on horseback. Curro did not want anyone in that house to do to Ángela what the captain did to Jana.

Ángela is grateful to Curro for saving her life. She is happy to be here with Curro.

Season 5: Will Curro and Angela return to La Promesa?

The fourth season of La Promesa comes to a shocking end when the reluctant bride Ángela appears to have died on her wedding day. Ángela does not want to be forced into a marriage with Lorenzo, and sees only one way out of the situation.

But Angela is not really dead. The fifth season of La Promesa reveals that Curro and Ángela have fled the mansion together. Will they return there?

In the fifth season of La Promesa, Curro and Ángela have settled down to live alone in a remote cabin. Curro is determined to protect Ángela at all costs and doesn't want anyone to get close to them. When people try to approach them, Curro even fires warning shots to prevent others from getting too close.

But then Manuel decides to intervene. He approaches Curro, even though he is threatened with a gun. Manuel is willing to take the risk, even putting his own life in danger. Finally, Curro breaks down, kneels before his brother and apologizes.

Manuel tells Curro and Ángela that some people at the manor are worried about them. Ángela thinks that their isolation from the world cannot continue indefinitely. She begins to feel strong enough to return.

Ángela encourages Curro to think more realistically about the future. They can't live forever isolated from other people. The mansion is full of problems, but there are their family and loved ones. Ángela believes they can't let fear control their lives.

However, for Curro, returning is not an easy idea. His biggest fear is related to his status. He does not want to return to the same role as before, because his status as a servant makes their relationship almost impossible. Curro dreams of a life where he could love Ángela openly without having to hide their feelings in front of others.

In the end, Ángela and Curro decide to return to La Promesa.

However, their return to the mansion does not mean that all the problems have been solved. On the contrary, despite the, to put it mildly, failed wedding, Lorenzo still insists on marrying Ángela.

La Promesa spoiler: Maria is pregnant

In the Spanish drama series La Promesa, María Fernández becomes scandalously pregnant out of wedlock. The news of María's pregnancy especially surprises María's beloved Samuel.

The beginning of the pregnancy

María, who is in love with Samuel, is frustrated because he will not give up his priesthood and his vow of chastity. So María goes to a village party on her day off and gets drunk.

After a while of the party, María begins to avoid Samuel, her impossible love. Samuel wonders about María's strange behavior, and gets her to tell him her big secret.

"I'm pregnant."

Samuel wonders how María can be pregnant, since they have never slept together.

"I made a mistake, I am human and a sinner," María admits. It all happened that night, when she attended a local festival. "I wanted to have fun and forget everything. I ran into a young man I already knew. There had never been anything between us because he's a ladies' man and doesn't take women seriously. He bought me an anise liqueur, we danced, and what happened, happened..."

María soon tells Pia her sinful secret.

"I am a bad person. I have made up my mind not to have a baby. I am poor and almost illiterate, and I live on a job that I will be fired from as soon as my belly starts to show. I have no savings, I have no house, I have no one to support me. I have nothing to offer this child."

María tries to keep the pregnancy a secret because she fears the consequences. Pregnancy outside of marriage is not accepted within the rules and social norms of the estate.

But María's behavior begins to arouse suspicion. An illegitimate pregnancy jeopardizes her job and reputation, causing her constant stress and worry.

Will María keep the child? And who is the father of Maria's child? That will be revealed in the upcoming spoilers of La Promesa.

La Promesa: The truth about Jana's death

The series La Promesa has long had a great mystery: who killed Jana? What really happened that fateful night?

A tragic death

Jana arrived in La Promesa with the goal of avenging the death of her mother Dolores. Along the way, she met the great love of her life, Manuel. After overcoming all obstacles, they became husband and wife. And they were expecting their first child.

One fateful night, someone shot Jana. Although Jana was very weak, she managed to survive the shot. Everyone took good care of her so that she would recover as soon as possible. But someone poisoned the water she drank, ending her life forever.

Cruz was the main suspect from the beginning, and she was arrested. But before she died, Jana managed to convince Curro that the Marquise had nothing to do with it. So who was it? Manuel's wife could not say the name.

The Truth About Jana's Death

It all started when Leocadia unexpectedly entered the newlyweds' room in the middle of the night. Jana was going to speak to the Guardians, and Leocadia couldn't allow that. Leocadia confessed everything to Jana.

"I only believe in revenge. Cruz owes me, and my only goal is to amass a fortune. You've always been just a pawn in the battle of the queens. I killed Alonso's first wife, Doña Carmen. I did it because Cruz ordered me to do so. Because she loved the Marquis with all her heart. When I found out that Alonso was going to have a child with Dolores, I killed her. I did it for Cruz, too. I got the Baron of Linaja to help me and I gave the baby to Eugenia. And then I thought she would give me the place I deserved, but that wh*re tried to kill me. Kill me, the only person who had sacrificed everything for her. You are the most unexpected gift life has ever given me. You are my revenge against Cruz, Jana. I never thought you would give me the keys to this mansion. I like you, Jana, I want you to know that, but unfortunately your death is necessary. Cruz will pay me this way."

And then Leocadia shot Jana. As she lay on the ground, she placed Cruz's button on the girl's bloody hands. Thus, she framed her former friend.

La Promesa Jana's death

Jana survived the gunshot wounds, and Leocadia had to finish the job she had started. Therefore, she had no choice but to poison Jana's drinking water. This is how Leocadia killed her. She murdered Jana to achieve her goal: to get revenge on Cruz.

Will Lorenzo be released from prison?

Captain Lorenzo de la Mata's defense succeeds in challenging the evidence against him. Some of the accusations are based on indirect statements and personal grudges, and Lorenzo's lawyer ruthlessly exploits this. At the same time, behind the scenes, pressure is exerted and people who are important for the progress of the case are influenced.

Unfortunately, the evidence is ultimately not enough to convict the captain, and the judge is forced to release him. Some of the statements are retracted or their credibility is weakened, which casts a shadow of doubt over the entire case. Lorenzo benefits from his position, connections and the fact that he can manipulate situations to his advantage.

In the end, Lorenzo is released because there is not enough evidence against him. He is released from prison, and returns to the mansion, still scheming.

Will Cruz return to La Promesa?

Cruz (played by Eva Martín) left La Promesa after her character ended up in prison, falsely accused of Jana's murder.

Cruz returns to La Promesa

A painting of Cruz arrives at the La Promesa mansion. It was painted by a renowned court artist. The painting's arrival causes a stir, as both the nobility and the servants feel the effects of the Marquise's "presence" and even experience physical and mental anguish. Manuel never imagined he would see Jana's murderer again so soon. The portrait of his mother reopens wounds that the young heir has not yet healed.

Manuel finds his mother's painting

The arrival of a painting commissioned by Cruz of herself at the mansion leaves everyone speechless, and Manuel is stunned. Both Curro and his father warn him not to look at the painting, but Manuel wants to know what they are trying to hide from him. "That's not my mother. Get her out of my sight," Manuel demands, furious. "We don't accept murderers here."

Lorenzo enjoys the situation

The Marquis orders all the servants and the Luján family not to touch the painting, so it remains on display in the corner of the living room. Catalina, Martina, and Ángela look at it in bewilderment. While everyone else is stunned by the portrait, the captain can't stop praising it. It's clear that Lorenzo is enjoying the situation to the fullest.

Lorenzo's claim that the painting reflects Cruz's true personality irritates Catalina, who tells him to be quiet. To the captain, it is just a painting, but the cousins agree that it is more than that.

Martina faints upon seeing the painting

Jacobo and the Marquis are discussing in the living room how Don Alonso can get rid of the painting. Martina is with them, but she does not participate in the discussion because she cannot take her eyes off her aunt's portrait and faints because she feels as if the Marquis is moving.

Martina loses consciousness, but eventually wakes up. Leocadia tries to calm Martina down by explaining that Cruz is in prison for a very good reason, but Martina still feels guilty.

Manuel confronts his mother

Another one who feels the presence of the Marquise is Manuel. The heir to Luján sits in front of his mother's portrait and speaks to it. "She had no right to come back here, this is no longer her home. She wanted to make La Promesa her home and ended up destroying it, just like she destroyed me. Was it so difficult for her to accept Jana and her own grandson, the child I was expecting with the woman I loved? What can I tell you about love if you don't know what it means? She said she loved me, but it was a lie. With Jana, I found true love."

The heir to the Marquise continues to speak to the painting, addressing Cruz and even calling her his mother, something he has not done since it was revealed that Cruz murdered Jana: "Are you satisfied with your achievement, mother? You smile, but you have failed, because you will rot in a cell for the rest of your life and never see me again."

Before leaving, tears in his eyes, Manuel has a few last words for Cruz: "May God forgive her, because I never will."
