Will Martina leave La Promesa?

Martina cheated on Jacobo by kissing Adriano. Martina confesses to Jacobo that she kissed another man, but doesn't tell him that her kissing partner was Adriano.

Since Catalina left La Promesa, Martina and Adriano have been taking care of the twins together, and during that time feelings have developed between them. They disagree on how to proceed with their secret relationship.

Adriano doesn't want to keep quiet about his feelings, but Martina thinks they can't let their feelings take control. Their relationship would be completely impossible, so it's best if they continue as friends. But Adriano doesn't want to be Martina's friend.

Just then, Margarita and Jacobo arrive. Jacobo has big news to tell Martina. He wants to leave La Promesa. But not alone, he wants Martina to come with him.

Jacobo reveals that he has been offered a very well-paid job in New York. Will Martina go to America with him, he asks.

The suggestion surprises everyone: Martina, Margarita and especially Adriano. The question is: will Martina leave La Promesa?

Margarita thinks the offer is very good. Jacobo thinks this is the opportunity of a lifetime that he can't refuse, after all, it's New York.

Margarita assures her daughter that whatever she decides, everything will go well.

Adriano says he agrees with Margarita.

Finally, Martina answers Jacobo's question. She says that of course she will go to New York with her fiancé.

 


 

Will Martina leave the series?


Martina doesn't want to leave the twins, they have brought light to her life.

Martina and Adriano say a painful goodbye to each other.

On the day of departure, Jacobo notices how unhappy Martina is. Jacobo decides that they will not go to New York. He says that he cannot take the woman he loves to a place where she would not be happy. So Martina and Jacobo stay in La Promesa.

Later it is revealed that the whole New York job offer was a lie made up by Jacobo, it never really existed. He lied because he was afraid of losing Martina.

Ángela and Lorenzo's wedding ends in tragedy One of the biggest events of season fiour comes at the end. Ángela is forced to marry Lorenzo, even though she doesn't really want to. On the wedding day, a shocking twist happens: Ángela is found dead in her wedding dress. The series hints that she may have poisoned herself to avoid the forced marriage. In the series La Promesa, the housekeeper Petra Arcos' health suddenly deteriorates and she appears to be dying. After receiving a wound while gardening, Petra begins to suffer from pain and weakness. She has seizures associated with severe pain and faints in the hallway. She later has another seizure in her office, where she loses strength and mobility in one of her arms.
