La Promesa: Will Maria tell the father of her child about her pregnancy?

The father of María's unborn child, Carlos, became La Promesa's new lackey before Angela and Lorenzo's wedding.

María finds it really hard to tell the father of her child about her pregnancy. But then Carlo overhears María and Pía discussing María's pregnancy and his own paternity.

What is Carlo's reaction? He is completely confused, and at first his only instinct is to run away. He tries to avoid María at all costs, even spending some time away from the Luján mansion.

Eventually, Pía and Samuel manage to bring him back to La Promesa.

Thanks to a plot hatched by Pía, María and Carlo finally get to have the conversation they have been putting off.

María apologizes for the way she has treated Carlo.

Carlo admits that he hasn't done the right thing either. He ran away like a coward when he found out that María is expecting his child.

They both agree that the situation shouldn't affect the baby. They must take care of its well-being.

Carlo has made a decision. He is ready to take care of the baby if María wants it. He doesn't know if he is a good father, because two days ago he hadn't even thought about it. But he promises to do everything he can. The footman promises not to leave María alone.
