What is Lorenzo's big secret in La Promesa?

The fourth season of La Promesa ends with Ángela attempting suicide on her wedding day, unable to bear the thought of being forced into a marriage with Lorenzo. However, the beginning of the fifth season reveals that Curro managed to save the life of his beloved. Ángela and Curro recover from their ordeal together in a remote cabin. In the end, they decide to return to the mansion. But the same problem awaits them there: Lorenzo still wants to marry Ángela. How can they stop the evil captain's plans?

Margarita, who returns to La Promesa in its fifth season, is instrumental in preventing Ángela and Lorenzo's wedding. Martina's mother knows one of the captain's biggest secrets, and her blackmail works: Lorenzo is forced to cancel the wedding!

Upon her return to the series, Margarita promises Curro that she will do everything she can to prevent Ángela from marrying the captain. What is her plan? Captain de la Mata's expression changes completely when he hears these words, and although he denies everything, Margarita has the necessary evidence.

Margarita's blackmail works. At dinner at the mansion, Lorenzo, under pressure from Margarita, gives in. He officially announces that he intends to break off his engagement to Ángela.
